Virginia High School Lacrosse - Cave Spring overwhelms Rockbridge County
April 23, 2025: Lexington, VA 24450 The Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) lacrosse routed the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Knights now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 29. Cave Spring will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Rockbridge County falls to 3-1 on the year. The Wildcats host William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to face the Terriers in a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. The Terriers go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. William Byrd won 17-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
