Virginia High School Lacrosse - Rock Ridge can't hold off Loudoun County
April 23, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20148 Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), 5-4 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Loudoun County advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Captains travel to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA) to battle the Wolverines in a test on Tuesday, May 6. The Wolverines enter the test with a record of 5-2.
Next, the Phoenix battle the Justice Wolves (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 25. Rock Ridge will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Wolves enter the test with a 2-2 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Annandale (Annandale, VA).
