The Decatur Central Hawks edged the visiting Living Water Homeschool Marlins softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Decatur Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.

The Marlins (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carmel (Carmel, IN). The Greyhounds enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Carmel was nudged by Plainfield (Plainfield, IN), 23-0, in a non-league challenge.
