April 23, 2025: Mathews, VA 23109 Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA), 10-7 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Lancaster upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 4-4. Rappahannock won 8-4 in their recent non-league game against New Kent (New Kent, VA)
The Blue Devils now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host West Point for a non-league game on Thursday, April 24. Mathews will play a Pointers squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to King William (King William, VA). The Pointers record now stands at 0-2.
