Maryland High School Lacrosse - South Carroll overwhelms Francis Scott Key
April 23, 2025: Union Bridge, MD 21791 The South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) lacrosse routed the host Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD), 14-6 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Cavaliers now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 29. South Carroll will face a Knights squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Francis Scott Key falls to 1-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Catoctin (Thurmont, MD) to face the Cougars in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 24. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 7-3. Catoctin lost 17-6 in their recent league outing against Middletown (Middletown, MD)
