April 23, 2025: Washington, CT 06793 The Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) lacrosse routed the visiting Suffield Academy Tigers (Suffield, CT), 13-3 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Highlanders now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkshire School for a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. Frederick Gunn will face a Bears squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Bears record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Suffield Academy falls to 0-3 on the year. The Tigers host Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT) to face the Cats in a Nepsac outing on Saturday, April 26. The Cats go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Cheshire Academy won 15-11 in their recent non-league outing against Hopkins (New Haven, CT)
