Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) and the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY), witnessed Valley Central's lacrosse squad top Newburgh Free Academy by a score of 16-7.

The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Middie Bears enter the Section 9 Division I contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Middletown was overwhelmed by Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY), 15-4, in a league contest.
