In Wednesday's league match, the host Bear Lake Bears softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the American Falls Beavers.

The Bears (9-10) will now prepare for their match against Preston (Preston, ID). The Indians come into the 4A South East Idaho match with a 10-10 record. In their last match, Preston nipped Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID), 17-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Beavers battle the Preston Indians (Preston, ID) in a 4A South East Idaho match, on Thursday, April 24. American Falls will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 10-10 record after their 17-3 league win over Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID).
