New York High School Softball - Our Lady of Mercy edges Brighton
April 23, 2025: Rochester, NY 14618 The Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Brighton Bruins to 2 in the Monarchs league win on Wednesday.
The Monarchs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penfield for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. Our Lady of Mercy will confront a Patriots team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Brighton moves to 0-5 on the season. The Bruins travel to Hilton (Hilton, NY) to confront the Cadets in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. The Cadets come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Hilton lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY)
