Washington High School Softball - Peninsula bounces Capital
April 23, 2025: Olympia, WA 98502 The Peninsula Seahawks softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Capital Cougars to 1 in the Seahawks league win on Wednesday.
The Seahawks now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Thurston for a 3A South Sound battle on Friday, April 25. Peninsula will encounter a Rams team coming off a 31-0 league win over Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Rams record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Capital moves to 4-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Timberline (Lacey, WA) to encounter the Blazers in a 3A South Sound battle on Friday, April 25. The Blazers come into the battle with a record of 10-3. Timberline lost 6-4 in their recent league battle against River Ridge (Lacey, WA)
