In Wednesday's non-league test, the Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN), by a tally of 20-4.

Next, the Chargers meet the Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 24. Carroll will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 4-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Heritage (Monroeville, IN).

The Vikings (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Wabash (Wabash, IN). The Apaches go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Wabash was routed by Bluffton (Bluffton, IN), 4-2, in a non-league test.
