In Wednesday's non-league test, the Lamar Silver Foxes (Lamar, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC), by a tally of 14-5.

Next, the Silver Foxes meet the Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 29. Lamar will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 12-8 record after their 12-9 league loss to Hartsville (Hartsville, SC).

The Knights (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Lakewood (Sumter, SC). The Gators go into the AAAA Region 5 test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Lakewood toppled Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC), 19-2, in a league test.
