North Carolina High School Softball - Northern Durham drops to Vance Charter

Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC), 15-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Vance Charter improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC) to play the Griffins in a Triangle North 1A game on Friday, April 25. The Griffins enter the game with a record of 10-3. Oxford Prep lost 6-0 in their recent non-league game against South Granville (Creedmoor, NC)

The Knights now hold a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Chapel Hill for a DC-VI 4A game on Friday, April 25. Northern Durham will play a Tigers squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-10.
