South Carolina High School Softball - Union County bounces Whitmire
April 23, 2025: Whitmire, SC 29178 The Union County Yellowjackets softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Whitmire Wolverines to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesnee for a non-league battle on Monday, April 28. Union County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 league win over High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Whitmire moves to 11-5 on the season. The Wolverines travel to McCormick (McCormick, SC) to confront the Chiefs in a A Region 1 battle on Friday, April 25. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 0-9.
