The Skyline Coyotes softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Dobson Mustangs to 5 in the Coyotes league win on Thursday.

The Coyotes now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Luis for a non-league battle on Monday, April 27. Skyline will confront a Sidewinders team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Sidewinders record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Dobson moves to 9-12 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Browne (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Bruins in a non-league battle on Monday, April 27. The Bruins come into the battle with a record of 6-11. Browne lost 25-7 in their recent league battle against Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ)
