Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY), 18-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Minisink Valley improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Monticello (Monticello, NY) to play the Panthers in a Orange County Division II game on Monday, April 27. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 1-6. Monticello lost 14-1 in their recent league game against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY)
