Ohio High School Softball - McDonald bounces Lordstown
April 24, 2021: Warren, OH 44481 McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Girard for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 26. McDonald will battle a Indians squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Columbiana (Columbiana, OH). The Indians record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, Lordstown falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Red devils host Bloomfield (North Bloomfield, OH) to battle the Cardinals in a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Monday, April 26. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Bloomfield lost 11-9 in their recent league challenge against Maplewood (Cortland, OH)
