Massachusetts High School Baseball - Phillips Academy defeats Governor's Academy
April 24, 2023: Byfield, MA 01922 Phillips Academy Big Blue (Andover, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Governor's Academy Governors (Byfield, MA), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Phillips Academy upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Big Blue host Winchendon (Winchendon, MA) to battle the Wapiti in a non-league test on Friday, April 28. The Wapiti come into the test with a record of 11-5. Winchendon lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA)
With the defeat, Governor's Academy falls to 4-4 on the season. The Governors travel to Rivers (Weston, MA) to battle the Red Wings in a Independent School test on Wednesday, April 26. The Red Wings come into the test with a record of 6-2. Rivers lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Austin Prep (Reading, MA)
