April 24, 2023: Algonquin, IL 60102 The Jacobs Golden Eagles baseball team (Algonquin, IL), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL)
The Red Raiders now hold a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cary-Grove for a Fox Valley - Valley outing on Wednesday, April 26. Huntley will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 league win over Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 16-3.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 25. Jacobs will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 10-10 record after their 15-1 league win over Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL).
