April 24, 2023: Middletown, DE 19709 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) and the visiting Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE), saw St. Georges Tech's soccer squad get by Sussex Central by a count of 2-1.
The Hawks now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown for a Blue Hen outing on Wednesday, April 26. St. Georges Tech will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Golden Knights play the Milford Buccaneers (Milford, DE) in a Henlopen North outing, on Thursday, April 27. Sussex Central will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record.
