South Carolina High School Soccer - Cheraw nudges Camden Military
April 24, 2023: Camden, SC 29020 Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Camden Military Spartans (Camden, SC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Braves confront the Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC) in a AA Region 5 challenge, on Wednesday, April 26. Cheraw will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Volunteers enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Camden (Camden, SC).
The Spartans now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Laurence Manning Academy for a SCISA AAAA Region II challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Camden Military will confront a Swampcats team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC). The Swampcats record now stands at 1-5.
