New York High School Softball - Carthage bounces Copenhagen
April 24, 2023: Copenhagen, NY 13626 The Carthage Comets routed the host Copenhagen Golden Knights softball squad by a final score of 14-0 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Comets (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Watertown (Watertown, NY). The Cyclones go into the Section 3 Frontier A battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Watertown was routed by Lowville (Lowville, NY), 6-3, in a league battle.
The Golden Knights now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host South Lewis for a Section 3 Frontier C battle on Tuesday, April 25. Copenhagen will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 13-0 league win over La Fargeville (La Fargeville, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-3.
