The Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) softball routed the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 7-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Bruins go into the Central Indiana bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Blackford was routed by Cowan (Muncie, IN), 20-6, in a non-league bout.
