North Carolina High School Baseball - Draughn loses to Burns
April 24, 2024: Lawndale, NC 28090 The Burns Bulldogs the visiting Draughn Wildcats baseball team by a count of 8-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 22-0 record. They take the field next when they host Shelby for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A bout on Friday, April 26. Burns will face a Golden Lions team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 2-13.
Next, the Wildcats face the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A bout, on Tuesday, April 30. Draughn will attempt to move on its 15-4 season record.
