April 24, 2024: Clay, WV 25043 The Clay County Panthers baseball team (Clay, WV), was overwhelmed 4-0 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV)
The Hawks now hold a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roane County for a Little Kanawha outing on Thursday, April 25. South Harrison will face a Raiders team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 8-7.
Next, the Panthers face the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 29. Clay County will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Tide enter the outing with a 4-10 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Wahama (Mason, WV).
