The Patriots now possess a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bluefield for a Coalfield AA bout on Thursday, April 25. Independence will face a Beavers team coming off a 7-6 league win over Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 2-13.
Next, the Bobcats face the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 27. Summers County will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Mavericks enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV).
