West Virginia High School Baseball - Petersburg wallops Tucker County
April 24, 2024: Petersburg, WV 26847 Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Tucker County Mountain Lions (Hambleton, WV), 11-1 in a league test.
With the win, Petersburg upgrades its record to 4-12 on the season. The Vikings travel to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Friday, April 26. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 14-3.
The Mountain Lions (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Gilmer County (Glenville, WV). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 19-3 record.
