In Wednesday's league battle, the Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) lacrosse squad edged the host South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Colts clash with the Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 2 battle, on Thursday, April 25. Chartiers Valley will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 7-2 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA).
