Michigan High School Lacrosse - Rochester can't get by Oxford
April 24, 2024: Oxford, MI 48371 Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Rochester Falcons (Rochester Hills, MI), 7-6 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host University Liggett for a non-league battle on Friday, April 26. Oxford will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 15-6 league win over Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Knights record now stands at 6-0.
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Academy of the Sacred Heart Gazelles (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a Division 2 Region 7 contest, on Thursday, April 25. Rochester will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Gazelles come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 20-10 non-league loss to Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI).
