April 24, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27406 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Cornerstone Charter Cardinals softball team scored a close 15-12 win over the Southern Guilford Storm.
Coming up next, the Cardinals battle the Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A outing, on Friday, April 26. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Wolves enter the outing with a 14-5 record after their 20-0 league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC).
The Storm (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Panthers enter the Mid-State 3A outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, Dudley was routed by Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 19-0, in a league outing.
