Virginia High School Softball - Dinwiddie bounces Patrick Henry
April 24, 2024: Dinwiddie, VA 23841 Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Generals now sport a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hopewell for a Central challenge on Thursday, April 25. Dinwiddie will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-9.
With the loss, Patrick Henry falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to face the Raiders in a Capital challenge on Friday, April 26. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Atlee lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA)
