New York High School Softball - East bounces Early College
April 24, 2024: Yonkers, NY 10710 East Eagles (Rochester, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Early College Sharks (Yonkers, NY), 16-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Monroe for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. East will face a Red Jackets squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to School of the Arts (Rochester, NY). The Red Jackets record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Early College falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to School of the Arts (Rochester, NY) to face the Silverhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Silverhawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. School of the Arts won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (Rochester, NY)
