North Carolina High School Softball - East Gaston nudges Stuart W. Cramer
April 24, 2024: Mt. Holly, NC 28120 East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bessemer City for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A challenge on Monday, April 29. East Gaston will battle a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, Stuart W. Cramer falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Storm host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Greenwave in a Big South 3A challenge on Monday, April 29. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a record of 3-14. Ashbrook won 18-3 in their recent non-league challenge against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
