California High School Softball - Wilcox bounces Fremont
April 24, 2024: Sunnyvale, CA 94087 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) and the host Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), witnessed Wilcox's softball squad prevail over Fremont by a count of 11-2.
The Chargers now sport a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Milpitas for a De Anza match on Friday, April 26. Wilcox will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-8.
With the loss, Fremont moves to 4-11 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA) to meet the Eagles in a De Anza match on Friday, April 26. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 8-10. Los Altos won 8-3 in their recent league match against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
