South Carolina High School Softball - St. James bounces Georgetown
April 24, 2024: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) and the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), witnessed St. James's softball squad prevail over Georgetown by a count of 10-0.
The Sharks now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Aynor for a non-league match on Friday, April 26. St. James will face a Blue Jackets squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC). The Blue Jackets record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Georgetown moves to 3-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC) to face the Warriors in a AAA Region 7 match on Thursday, April 25. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 0-9.
