Ohio High School Softball - New Lexington gets by Logan
April 24, 2024: Logan, OH 43138 The New Lexington Panthers (New Lexington, OH) softball nipped the host Logan Chieftains (Logan, OH), 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (7-8) will now prepare for their bout against River View (Warsaw, OH). The Black Bears go into the Muskingum Valley bout with a 1-10 record. In their last bout, River View was edged by John Glenn (New Concord, OH), 13-2, in a league bout.
The Chieftains now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chillicothe for a non-league bout on Friday, April 26. Logan will confront a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 10-8.
