April 24, 2024: Cortland, OH 44410 The Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH) softball routed the visiting Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH), 20-4 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Rockets (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs go into the Northeastern Athletic bout with a 14-5 record. In their last bout, Mathews toppled Bloomfield (North Bloomfield, OH), 13-1, in a league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Bloomfield for a Northeastern Athletic bout on Thursday, April 25. Lordstown will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 23-5 league loss to Windham (Windham, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-7.
