Massachusetts High School Baseball - Abington nips Millbury
April 24, 2025: Abington, MA 02351 The Abington Green Wave baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Millbury Woolies to 5 in the Green Wave non-league win on Thursday.
The Green Wave now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rockland for a South Shore test on Monday, April 28. Abington will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over South Shore Vo-Tech (Hanover, MA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Millbury drops to 3-4 on the year. The Woolies travel to Oxford (Oxford, MA) to play the Pirates in a South Worcester County - Central test on Monday, April 28. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 6-4. Oxford won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Leicester (Leicester, MA)
