April 24, 2025: Flossmoor, IL 60422 The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts to 3 in the Vikings league win on Thursday.
The Vikings now own a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. Homewood-Flossmoor will play a Caravan team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Caravan record now stands at 12-6.
With the defeat, Andrew drops to 15-4 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to play the Eagles in a Southwest Suburban test on Tuesday, April 29. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 11-7. Sandburg lost 4-1 in their recent league test against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
