California High School Baseball - Borrego Springs holds off Desert Mirage

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Borrego Springs Rams (Borrego Springs, CA) and the host Desert Mirage RAMS (Thermal, CA), saw Borrego Springs's baseball team beat Desert Mirage by a margin of 8-4.

The Rams (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Calipatria (Calipatria, CA). The Hornets enter the battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Calipatria was overwhelmed by Hamilton (Anza, CA), 16-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the RAMS face the Banning Broncos (Banning, CA) in a Sun Valley battle, on Monday, April 28. Desert Mirage will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 15-2 record after their 19-3 league win over Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA).
