Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT), 8-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Rice Memorial advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Green Knights travel to Harwood (Moretown, VT) to battle the Highlanders in a non-league match on Monday, April 28. The Highlanders come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Redhawks now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burr & Burton for a non-league match on Friday, April 25.
