Delaware High School Baseball - Dover defeats Sussex Academy
April 24, 2025: Dover, DE 19901 The Dover Senators baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Sussex Academy Seahawks to 6 in the Senators non-league win on Thursday.
The Senators now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Georges Tech for a non-league test on Monday, April 28. Dover will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 16-10 non-league loss to Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Sussex Academy drops to 4-9 on the year. The Seahawks host Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE) to clash with the Royals in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Royals go into the test with a record of 4-3. Delmarva Christian lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Lake Forest (Felton, DE)
