The Freedom Area Bulldogs baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Highlands Golden Rams to 7 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Aliquippa for a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Monday, April 28. Freedom Area will play a Quips team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Brashear (Pittsburgh, PA). The Quips record now stands at 0-10.

With the defeat, Highlands drops to 6-8 on the year. The Golden rams travel to Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA) to play the Golden Lions in a WPIAL 4A 3 test on Monday, April 28. The Golden Lions go into the test with a record of 6-6. Greensburg Salem lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Derry (Derry, PA)
