The James Lick Comets baseball squad (San Jose, CA), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Thursday's league contest with the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA)

With the triumph, Mt. Pleasant moves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Overfelt (San Jose, CA) to confront the Royals in a West Valley contest on Monday, April 28. The Royals come into the contest with a record of 8-8. Overfelt lost 12-0 in their recent league contest against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)

The Comets now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Jose for a West Valley contest on Tuesday, April 29. James Lick will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 20-10 league win over Independence (San Jose, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-13.
