The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) and the host Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR), saw Mills University Studies's baseball team gain a win over Pine Bluff by a tally of 18-6.

The Comets (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Leopards enter the 4A Region 5 South battle with a 10-8 record.

Next, the Zebras face the White Hall Bulldogs (White Hall, AR) in a 5A South battle, on Friday, April 25. Pine Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 1-18 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 11-8 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Vilonia (Vilonia, AR).
