In Thursday's league challenge, the host Taft Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lake View Wildcats.

The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Leyden achieved victory over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
