In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Colts Neck Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-8 win over the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brick Township (Brick, NJ). The Green Dragons enter the Shore - Constitution contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Brick Township was overwhelmed by Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ), 9-8, in a non-league contest.
