Virginia High School Soccer - Mecklenburg County knocks off Colonial Heights
April 24, 2025: Colonial Heights, VA 23834 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA) and the host Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA), saw Mecklenburg County's soccer squad knock off Colonial Heights by a count of 5-2.
The Phoenix (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the Piedmont battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Martinsville by Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Colonials confront the Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Colonial Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
