Michigan High School Soccer - Gladwin toppled by Standish-Sterling
April 24, 2025: Standish, MI 48658 Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Standish-Sterling advances its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Bullock Creek (Midland, MI) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 1-2.
The Flying G's now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Clare for a Northern Michigan - North test on Monday, April 28. Gladwin will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-3.
