Indiana High School Baseball - Andrean loses to Brother Rice
April 24, 2025: Merrillville, IN 46410 In Thursday's non-league bout, the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN), by a tally of 8-1.
Next up, the Crusaders encounter the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Monday, April 28. Brother Rice will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Wolfpack go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 16-4 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL).
With the defeat, Andrean drops to 2-6 on the year. The Fighting 59ers travel to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to play the Friars in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Friars go into the test with a record of 4-9. Fenwick won 15-9 in their recent non-league test against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL)
